English and Irish ivy has been smothering the understory in Hendricks Park Forest for many decades. Here’s your chance to vicariously stand up to bullies everywhere and take your frustrations out on the ivy. It is hard work but very gratifying when you see the results. The Trillium will thank you. Please dress in sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Tools, gloves and snacks will be provided. Contact Mieko at mieko.e.aoki@ci.eugene.or.us or 541-510-4636 to RSVP or for more information.
