On November 19th, join ILACSD and Think Blue in Vista Colina for Storm Drain Stenciling Day! This is your opportunity to learn about the impacts of trash on our oceans, and then turn knowledge into action. Volunteers will meet at Colina Del Sol Park, then head into the surrounding neighborhoods to stencil the message, "Do Not Dump Goes To Ocean" in both English and Spanish above storm drains.
Volunteers will also have the opportunity to pick up debris while stenciling, hence doubling their efforts to protect our ocean!
Volunteers under the age of 16 will need adult supervision for stenciling. All are welcome to join for litter removal throughout the neighborhood.
Be sure to look for the ILACSD flag and canopy in the park when you arrive!
