We hope that you will consider becoming a 1K or 5K volunteer WALKER or SPONSOR of the PEARLAND CROP Hunger Walk, which helps to END HUNGER, one step at a time. With your help, each year we raise funds for hunger programs in our area and around the world. A quarter of the funds raised support the work of Manvel Community Outreach, known as The Well on Masters Road, which provides food and links to other services to families in need. The remainder of the funds supports the global work of CWS, which works to raise funds to end hunger in the U.S. and around the world.
Last year, we raised $5,000 for the hungry and had roughly 100 walkers! Our goal for this year is to raise $12,500 with 250 Walkers! The event takes place on Sunday, November 5 at 2 pm starting at Laura Ingalls Wilder Elementary, 1.9 miles from PEARLAND TOWN CENTER. We need your support.
