HomePlate is thrilled to have a central office space in Central Beaverton. From this central location, we have a greater ability to serve youth between ages 12 and 24 who are experiencing homelessness or housing instabiltiy.

We are seeking a friendly, responsible Receptionist/Resource Organizer to sit at the front of our office to greet visitors.

The Receptionist/Resource Organizer is the first person visitors will see as they enter our office. The receptionist will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering basic questions about HomePlate, and connecting them with the appropriate staff member.

The Receptionist/Resource Organizer will also accept and track in-kind donations that are dropped off, keep our space tidy, and help out with occasional administrative projects from staff. Receptionist will also help staff to supervise youth seeking resources in the space.

We are seeking a receptionist to help each Monday-Thursday from 1:45pm to 5:15pm for at least 6 months.

Volunteers need to be at least 18 (preferably older), commit to volunteering every week for at least six months, fill out info for background and reference checks, complete an application, interview, and undergo our four hour orientation and training for new volunteers.
