Hospice Compassus is in need of friendly, compassionate, outgoing volunteers to visit hospice patients. Volunteers are needed in all areas surrounding athens including: Athens, Jefferson, Commerce, Toccoa, Madison, Greensboro, Eatonton, etc. Volunteer Coordinator will complete training with volunteers and make sure they are ready before placing them with patients. We could always use help in our office as well with admission packets, patient charts, reports, etc. If interested please feel free to contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Bridgett Biggers, at 706-354-1707.

Description
Hospice Compassus values the time and energy our volunteers put into our patients. We are looking for someone who is caring and compassionate and enjoys visiting. As volunteers we may provide some of the following services: Friendly visits for social interaction, reading to patients, listening presence, companionship, patient caregiver relief, emotional support, etc. Are you willing to make a difference in a patients life today when they need us the most?
