Interested in helping girls learn and explore ways they can change the world through Journalism?

We’ve got just the thing. Press Corp is a special interest troop that’s mission is to give our older girls an opportunity to expand on skills they’ve learned as Media Girls. Through the Press Corp, girls will have the opportunity to receive valuable guidance and feedback from professional journalists and gain insight to the news industry. They’ll focus on creating their own girl-led magazine, covering events throughout our council and learning the value of story-telling.

If you are interested in helping young girls explore their interests, skills, goals and dreams then being a part of this troop might just be the opportunity you've been looking for. Guide girls through the ins and outs of the fast paced news world. Training is provided to prepare you to help girls become future journalists.

Please contact communications@gsctx.org for a list of positions available in this new and exciting troop.
