Off The Floor Pittsburgh is a furniture bank located in the North Side of Pittsburgh. We supply furniture to disadvantaged households in Allegheny County. Our mission is to ensure that every household has the furniture necessary to live safely and securely. We are currently looking for volunteers to assist in our warehouse. Possible tasks include repairing and refinishing furniture, sorting and packaging house linens, and assisting with reorganization of our furniture inventory. This is an ongoing opportunity available on a day-by-day basis between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:30 pm. Volunteers are free to set their own schedule and choose the number of days per week and hours per day they serve. If interested in serving with us, an exact time can be scheduled with our Volunteer Coordinator, Spencer Brown.
