Compassionate individuals are needed to provide patient companionship, social interaction, hand holding, or just to sit and chat with patients recieving end-of-life care.

Some of our patients have no or little family contact. As they face this journey your powerful role is to provide: 1. a friendly smile; 2. a phone call; 4. a ministry presence.

We require no time commitment from our volunteers.

Homestead Hospice is dedicated to our patients and their families. When someone you love is diagnosed with a life limiting illness, everything changes. We are here to guide you through this difficult journey so that you can spend quality time with your loved one.

Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance. However, care is provided regardless of ability to pay.
