Join us Thanksgiving! Live Life Full

The 2nd Annual Harvesting Hope 5K Turkey Trot, will be held on November 24, 2016 - Thanksgiving Day and raises both awareness and funds for Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), a chromosomal disorder affecting several families in Denver with 1 out of 15,000 births each year. PWS is the leading cause of genetic morbid childhood obesity. We are reaching out to see if your volunteers and their families are looking for an active way to start their Thanksgiving Holiday. Last year we had over 600 participants and raised $40,000 for the Foundation of Prader-Willi Research (FPWR). This year we already have many of our returning sponsors committed and registrations are rolling in! We are hoping for better weather (!) and more participants so your support is much needed and much appreciated. We have divided the volunteer times into a couple of categories:

  • Shift 1 - 7:30 am(Set Up) - 10:15 am(Kids Fun Run/5K START TIME)
  • Shift 2 - 8:30 am(Registration) - 11:00 am(FINISH/AWARDS)
  • Shift 3 - 10:30 am (Post Race Details) - 12:00 pm(End of Race/Tear Down)
As a volunteer you will receive a race day tshirt and one complimentary registration that you can use or pass along to a family/friend. If you know you are in town and are able to participate, please let us know the following information and email back to harvestinghope5k@gmail.com:
