Delivering meals is a easy and rewarding way to help seniors and people with disabilities in need of a hot meal and a friendly face. We are looking for volunteer drivers who are willing to donate 1-1.5 hours of time to deliver meals in the Chestnut Hill, Mt Airy, Germantown, Wyndmoor, Flourtown, Oreland and Lafayette Hill areas. We have 9 different routes and deliver Monday - Friday. You can volunteer once a week, once a month, or whatever fits your schedule! It's a perfect opportunity for retirees, stay-at-home parents (children are welcome to help), and anyone who wants to give back to the community.

Chestnut Hill Meals on Wheels is a community based, non profit organization devoted to meeting the daily nutritional needs of any of our neighbors challenged by illness, disability, or age. Respecting our clients’ desire to live independently, our dedicated corps of caring volunteers home deliver two fresh meals each day, five days a week.
Description
Chestnut Hill Meals on Wheels is a nonprofit, community based service organization providing affordable quality meals to our homebound neighbors. Any person living in Chestnut Hill, Erdenheim, Flourtown, Lafayette Hill, Oreland, Wyncote, Wyndmoor, Mt. Airy and parts of Germantown or surrounding neighborhood, who is challenged by the preparation of nutritious meals, is eligible to participate in our meal delivery program regardless of age or income.
