ORGANIZATION: Literacy Solutions NY

  • 13 people are interested

Literacy Solutions NY (LSNY) is looking for a few volunteers who would like to help Legal Permanent Residents (LPRs) in Rockland County get through the process of gathering documentation and filling out the N400 Application for U.S. Citizenship. Legal background would be a help, but not necessary.

LSNY will provide training and support by Bureau of Immigrant Appeals- certified staff members. These staff members will review all N400s filled out with the help of volunteers. The applications will receive a final OK from an immigration lawyer so that prospective citizens can be assured that their applications are completely in order.

Please contact Anne Carey Colorado, Communications Manager for the Rockland ONA and Haverstraw Literacy Zone, at (845)429-5731 x13 for additional information and a schedule of upcoming trainings.
