About

Beacon Hospice provides quality end-of-life care to local terminally-ill veterans in CT. We are currently looking for caring and compassionate veterans to spend time with veterans in our program. Volunteers can provide much needed support to patients and their families in a number of ways including:

  • Visitation

  • Companionship

  • Emotional Support

  • Respite for Caregivers

  • Assisting in Veteran Pinning Ceremonies

There is a free training course that is required on what hospice is and how to interact with hospice patients. The trainings are held locally throughout CT.
