We are hosting a FREE Pre-Thanksgiving Community Festival in Covington, GA on November 12th from 12pm to 3pm!

We have several positions available that volunteers can fill!

-Greeters (Welcome the guests as they come in and direct them to the event.)

-Registration (Assisting parents with workshop information and sign-ups.)

-Food Box Distribution (Check to make sure names are listed for pickup and distribute items.)

-Set-up/Breakdown (Assist with setting up the area and cleaning the space after event.)

-Face Painter (Apply simple images with face paint to children.)

-Small business liaison (Assist vendors with their tables and set-up.)

YOU MUST FILL OUT THEREGISTRATION FORM at www.keepthebeatdjs.com, click the "Get Involved" link and someone will contact you with further details! We will register volunteers until we reach our maximum amount.

Church groups, youth auxillary groups, Girl/Boy Scouts, Greek organizations, sports teams are all welcome!!!

Keep The Beat Inc, mission is to mentor through music and develop youth into competent individuals and instill community pride through service projects.

Description

KEEP THE BEAT INC was created to introduce youth to music concepts involving the art of the disc jockey, music theory, beat and rhythm. KTB is a program for youth in grades 7th-12th and will teach the concepts of music along with the importance serving in the community. Using S.T.E.M concepts, students will explore the areas of music relevant to science, technology, engineering and math. KTB students will be required to participate in service projects while they are learning the musical concepts.
