About

Interfaith Refugee and Immigration Service (IRIS) is a refugee resettlement agency in Los Angeles. We are in need of drivers to help assist with getting clients to core appointments. Volunteers may help with transporting people to healthcare appointments, meetings at welfare offices, or even getting children enrolled in school.

Nearly all driving assignments take place during the day, Monday - Friday. In addition to being available during at least part of this time, drivers must attend at least one session of Cultural Orientation, which takes place on most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1pm - 3pm.

For more information, email Liz Kurtz at ekurtz@ladiocese.org.

Thank you for your interest in making a difference in the lives of our neighbors!
