Louisville Mashed’s vision is to host the area’s premier event combining great bourbon (and other spirits), networking for young professionals, and a focus on giving back to the community.

We are in need of volunteers to help with our bourbon stations. We will have 20 vendors on-site that will need ice, cups, etc. run to them from time to time. We will need up to 8 volunteers for this opportunity. And also to help with clean-up. Make sure the event space looks nice throughout the night.

Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age.

Shifts for volunteers are in 3 hour segments: 5:30-8:30 p.m., 6-9 p.m., or 6:30-9:30 p.m.

About Family and Children's Place

Location:

Mission Statement

Our mission is to protect children and families from abuse, violence, and neglect.

Description

Family & Children’s Place was created to better help children and families affected by abuse, neglect and violence. With more than 130 years of experience and expertise in prevention, intervention and treatment, we give families and children in our region fast and easy access to comprehensive, seamless support as they face serious challenges.

Today, we educate families to prevent abuse, respond to children on the day abuse is reported, treat victims to reduce damage to their lives and act to protect children from further maltreatment.

We know the cycle of abuse can be ended. Instead of the pain, memories and behavior spawned by being hurt - once or chronically - there are points at which parents and children can get help. We offer services to help prevent, stop and treat the problems.

Every day we help children who have been abused or neglected and families that have survived family violence - which reflects our vision for a community where children and families are free from violence, abuse and neglect. Family & Children’s Place continues to exist because people care. We invite people to join us by giving, supporting or volunteering to continue to help make the future brighter for our children and families.
