The committee members work towards a successful evening at the April 2017 event. Committee members usually work on one subcommittee, but everyone assists with securing auction items and ticket/table sales. The committee meets monthly until we’re closer to the event, then every other week as needed.

Auction - secure unique items and experiences for the silent auction.

AWE Awards - distribute nomination forms; select winners; order awards; work with marketing to write up their information.

Collateral - graphic design work; produce all the pieces needed (sponsorship form, invitations and rsvp, envelopes, electronic invite, posters, programs, commemorative poster, auction signs, etc); find an in kind printer.

Fashion Show - work with school and local designers; recruit models; plan the show.

Logistics - work with decorations; food and beverage; event signage; build and manage invitation database.

Marketing and media - write, distribute, and follow up on press releases; work with collateral to produce print and electronic ads; assist in promoting event in print, radio, tv, social media, etc; assist in writing script.

Sponsorship - secure cash as well as in kind sponsors (printing, graphic design, decorations, liquor, food, etc). Promote ticket sales.

Volunteers - secure volunteers for hanging posters; stuffing invitations; for day-of activities, etc.
