Gentiva Hospice provides services to patients in Anderson County. Volunteers are needed to provide support to our patients in a variety of ways. Providing companionship, socialization, emotional and spiritual support are all important aspects to being a hospice volunteer. Also, assisting with light hosehold chores and relieving family and friends for short time periods is a tremendous help. We are always looking for specialty services such as, certified pet therapy volunteers, music therapy, massage therapy and beauty/barber services. "We believe that every moment matters. We believe in compassionate care. Most of all, we believe in dignity and respect for each patient we serve. As a hospice volunteer, you can help ensure that every moment really does matter."
