About ADOPT A COP USA

Location:

414 S Poweline Road, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441, US

Mission Statement

Adopt A Cop USA's mission is to bridge the gap between Community and Law Enforcement by raising awareness of existing positive relationships, promoting healthy community perceptions of local law enforcement, and supporting safe neighborhoods by facilitating one on one mentorship opportunities by partnering police officers with at risk elementary school students.

Description

AAC’s critical and timely mission is to bring together front line Law Enforcement Officers who are already mentoring children or to train those interested in mentoring to share leadership and life skills to at risk children beginning in elementary school in order to prevent future crime, correct negative perceptions, improve overall community relations and instill lifelong partnership and respect between Community, Kids and Law Enforcement.

Mentorship is at the heart of Adopt A Cop USA. Our officers foster a trusted relationship with at risk kids in their communities through one on one communication, guidance and clarity which builds lifelong trust and mutual respect.

We also support police officers and organizations with similar missions that make a positive difference in their communities through mentoring.

The first step is for elementary schools to contact AAC in order to begin the mentoring partnerships with their Community Police Department and Local Boys and Girls Club.
