During eight days each November hundreds of authors and thousands of readers converge on Downtown Miami for the nation's premier literary festival.

MDC Museum of Art + Design's free family arts program, GOGO MOAD! is proud to spend another year participating at the Miami Book Fair International.

Activities will be held inside the Paintbox tent in the Children's Alley area of the street fair Friday November 18- Sunday November 20th. The Children's Alley is located at 300 NE Second Avenue.

Volunteers will be helping children from schools all over Miami-Dade county bring unqiue projects to life, inspired by books!

Participate in one day or all three - please inquire for more information and I wills end over shifts and duties.

Description

Museum of Art and Design (MOAD) is Miami Dade College's flagship institution dedicated to the presentation and exhibition of visual art and design, housed within the National Historic Landmark Freedom Tower at Miami Dade College in Downtown Miami. MOAD MDC provides its patrons and visitors access to unique cultural, historical and educational exhibitions that enrich the greater community while building and preserving an expansive permanent art collection, Freedom Tower archives, and newly established design collection.
