Mission Statement
Our mission: To create, connect, and unite our members with life-empowering resources during and after civilian transition. Our vision: For all veterans, service members, and their families to have access to the resources they need to achieve success during and after service.
Description
My Veteran Community, Inc. is registered as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the IRS and incorporated within the state of Texas.
My Veteran Community’s mission seeks to answer these three questions:
* What resources are available to veterans, service members, and their families?
* What are they looking for, and what do they need?
* Where are the gaps in assistance, and where can My Veteran Community help?
MVC is an upcoming organization seeking to help veterans, service members, and their families navigate the rough waters of transition and success after service. With our community being so vast and unique, it is difficult for organizations to assist everyone. It is our goal to help these members find the right resources, mentors, and paths for them. We are developing a number of programs to assist us in this approach to include an advocacy program, a mentoring program, an emergency fund, and community outreach programs designed to bring awareness to the local community and seek their involvement in our cause.
