You could have been at the game today....but, no one volunteered!
There's nothing better than October National's baseball, and helping out a community organization! Please email for additional details. Pioneer can use YOU to help us fundraise!
Please note: this opportunity is creditable towards community service hours.
UPDATE: The Nat's are in the playoffs. If they reach the NLDS, i'm looking for people to volunteer. PLEASE contact me now to reserve your spot to help Pioneer achieve our fundraising goals this year!
Pioneer Youth Baseball League out of Alexandria VA, is looking for a steady stream of highly motivated and responsible volunteers who are willing to provide time in order to not only raise funds for the League by assisting with Concession stands at either National's, Wizards, Capitals, Redskins, and Ravens games.
Entry to these events are at no cost to you, however your time in the concessions area is a requirement. Therefore, visibility of the game may or not be readily apparent depending on where you are working during the respective game.
If you are aged 16 and over, responsible, have experience in food service (not required), and have a need to acquire valuable community service hours, then this is the opportunity for you! You are not only providing a valuable service to the sports franchises we support in this area, you will be ensuring that valuable money is then donated (for your time) to the Pioneer Youth Baseball League, and you will be providing a community service that will ensure the youth who participate in our league, and the league reaches its annual fund raising goals.
The number of people that we need in order to make this opportunity a reality is 6-10 volunteers.
