Foster Adult Cats who need YOU in Orange County!

OCSP Cat Rescue

We get many calls requesting us to take in strays or owner surrendered pets and even though we would love to be able to accommodate everybody we are only able to help those for which we have foster homes. For this reason you would literally be saving lives by fostering pets in need!

We are currently seeking fosters for adult cats who don’t do well in shelter environments, either due to shyness, stress, or having a FIV positive status.

Adult cats can often be integrated into the home with other cats and dogs and just need a safe, loving place where they can wait to be adopted.
Some of our adult cats are FIV+ and cannot live in Petco kennels.
Others are painfully shy or have special needs and need a quiet environment where they can be socialized prior to adoption.

We will guide you through the basics if you have never fostered before. Even if you have, we will always be available to answer questions and assist in the transition to the foster home!

OCSP will provide a starter kit consisting of a Litter box with litter, litter scoop, wet and dry food (bowls not provided). In addition to feeding and cleaning time you will need to spend time with the cat daily to keep him or her socialized and happy!
Foster requirements also include transporting cat to weekly adoption events, helping with event setup, answering questions about your foster cat during the event and helping with event teardown.
We currently hold adoptions in Huntington Beach, Tustin and Santa Ana every Saturday.
