Prepare reclaimed produce that will be transformed into nutritious meals and snacks for charitable partners that serve Los Angeles’ aging, low-income, and homeless populations.
Activities include cleaning, cutting, peeling, zesting, etc. a variety of donated produce from local farmers and wholesale companies. Volunteers learn and practice valuable knife skills and kitchen safety protocols under the direction of trained culinary team members. No prior kitchen prep experience is necessary.
