A skilled Data Entry Volunteer is needed to help our procurement team in Wallingford. This group is responsible for sourcing large food donations from food growers, producers and retailers. The team is looking for someone able to work with database and spreadsheet programs. The volunteer’s responsibilities would include working with detailed information to be entered into our systems and helping to generate reports for the team. The ability to create and work with pivot table is highly desirable. Training will be provided for the specialized software the Food Bank uses. The selected volunteer must also be willing to make and answer phone calls to obtain information related to department operations. A 4-6 hr. per week commitment is preferred.
If interested, please email Kim Damien at kdamien@ctfoodbank.org with a brief note regarding your skills as related to the above description of needs.
