The local SCORE chapter is looking for a new volunteer to take on the Member Services Director position. This is an executive committee position. The ideal candidate is retired or still in the workforce, but has the time to commit to supporting the chapter and individual members effectively. Weekly time commitment is approximately 2 hours. Attendance at the monthly member meeting (2nd Tuesday of the month) is required, as is attendance at quarterly executive committee meetings. Responsibilities: Assign new members to a mentor-buddy to help them through their training Follow up with new members to ensure they successfully integrate into chapter Maintain member roster (drop/add/changes) Report monthly member statistics (pull online reports from national and report at monthly member meeting) Coordinate member education sessions at monthly member meeting (typically outside speakers) Recommend volunteer recruitment targets Assist in volunteer retention efforts
