Homeless Gear's One Village One Family programs brings together multiple communtiy stakeholders to help families obtain housing and become self sufficient. We match "villages" (groups of 4-6 adults) with a family that is homeless to 1) help the family secure sustainable housing and 2) provide the family with a network of support as the family progresses toward self-sufficiency.
We are currently on the search for Villages. A Villages is a group of 4-6 adults that is interested in working one-on-one with a family that is homeless. They commit to meeting once each month for six months and to checking in with the family (phone) once each week.

Homeward Alliance (formally Homeless Gear) is a Fort Collins-based nonprofit that provides a continuum of services to individuals and families who are homeless or - in some cases - at risk of becoming homeless: supplies that help them survive in the short-term, connections to resources in the interim and links to employment, housing and self-sufficiency in the long-term.
