We are looking for compassionate, caring people to make one on one visits with patients at the close of their lives--for companionship, laughter, crafts, puzzles, games, sharing stories--to name only a few. For one to four hours per week, you can make a tremendous difference in someone's life and the lives of their loved ones. Imagine the power of a card you help someone make and give to a family member! Or a holiday craft done together to brighten a day. On site training at the United Way building, and support from the Hospice team, including a joint first visit to be introduced to your patient. Great for health professions students with volunteer hours requirements; for organizations trying to have an impact on their communities; or for retired people with the heart for this work.

Mission Statement
The Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky provides quality skilled health and personal care services to adults in their home regardless of their financial status.
Our goal is to promote health, independence and self-sufficiency through individual and community based educational and wellness programs.
Description
Recover in the comfort of your own home with the Visiting Nurse Association. We are a non-profit, home health care agency for adults that partners with a patient's physician to customize their care plan. Our services include skilled nursing; physical, occupational and speech therapy; medical social work and home health aides.
Medicare covers 100% of home health expenses for eligible patients. The VNA is Medicare and Medicaid certified and accepts most insurance plans. Our staff is bonded and insured and helps assist adults in their recovery and helps them regain or maintain their independence in the place they love most; their home.
The good health of our patients has been our goal since 1909. The Visiting Nurse Association can help if you or a loved-one: has had a recent fall; has a new illness or diagnosis; needs assistance with medications; is recovering at home from a recent hospital stay; has a chronic illness that feels unmanageable or is transitioning from a hospital or long-term care facility.
