A volunteer is needed to ride on the Connecticut Food Bank truck out of the Wallingford warehouse on the 2nd Thursday of each month to assist staff with delivery of food boxes to participating seniors in the Stamford area. The volunteer would ride the truck from the Wallingford warehouse and through Stamford for the drop offs. Once at the sites the volunteer will assist with unloading the truck and moving boxes inside the building using a hand truck. The ability to lift 40 pounds is required.
This is intended as an on-going volunteer position on the 4th Monday of each month and is not intended as a one time opportunity.
