The VR and Tech intern will collaborate with Triple Threat Mentoring to help facilitate the Jordan Brand WNGS program, building out and executing the VR Track as part of WINGS.
The VR and Technology Intern will teach at-risk youth how to leverage Virtual Reality technology to gain confidence, build character, and develop life skills.
Requirements:
-Experience or interest in virtual reality and cutting-edge technology
- Ability to work collaboratively with our Triple Threat Mentoring team and WINGS staff to deliver a high-energy, engaging program for Chicago youth.
- Have A TON of energy, excitement, and ability to share your passion with youth. Fun. Fun. Fun.
- Attendance is required on Saturdays at WINGS schools to run the selected track. Interns must be able to commit to a minimum of 5 straight weeks, as WINGS tracks run in 5-week sessions. A rough session outline is Session 1 (Oct-Nov) Session 2 (Dec-Jan) and Session 3 (Feb-March).
- The ability to stop into our Aurora office (or check in via Skype) once a week during the duration of the internship.
- Work with our pre-written curriculum, or work with our staff to make adjustments to make it your own!
