The Oak Grove Nature Center is located in Oak Grove Regional Park in Stockton, CA. The Nature Center is managed by the Zoo Curator at Micke Grove Zoo.
The Nature Center is conducting some exciting new conservation education programs and we are keenly looking at taking volunteers to conduct these programs. Orientation and training will be conducted onsite.
Conservation Education Volunteers will be trained to share information on the natural history, animal behavior, and conservation status of the captive wildlife housed at the Nature Center. They will also be trained to share information documents with the visitors copies of which the visitors are allowed to take with them.

Description
Micke Grove Zoo is a captive wildlife center that is owned and run by a County government in California. This facility breeds threatened wildlife in captivity to support their conservation. Conservation education programs are conducted at the zoo to promote local knowledge on wildlife conservation. Volunteers are trained at this facility and some of them are hired on a regular basis.
