Cause for Celebration is a nonprofit that provides birthday parties for homeless and foster youth. We are run entirely by passionate volunteers and we need additional support. We are looking for leaders, problem solvers, team players and individuals looking to make a difference in their communities. No previous experience is required.
At the birthday parties the children are treated to games, crafts, bouncers, magicians, face painting, food, music and so much more. The entire day is about self celebration and showing each child that they are loved, valued and deserve to be celebrated.
We are looking for anyone interest in ongoing volunteer work planning and organizing the birthday parties. No previous experience is needed and training is provided.

Description
Cause for Celebration is a public charity exempt from federal income tax under Section 501 (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Cause for Celebration provides birthday parties to children recently released from or currently residing in shelters. We believe that children should not just be thought of during the holidays but that they deserve to be celebrated throughout the year, especially during the time that is just about them (their birthday).
