A non-profit organization whose mission is to help older adults live healthier lives by promoting increased physical activity, and sound health, and nutrition practices.
Help with:
Young at Heart fitness classes, A matter of balance, The Green bag program (fresh fruits & vegetables), nutrition education, Young at Heart Steps, and Fall Prevention
Volunteers 55 and over can qualify to receive extra benefits such as supplemental insurances and mileage within Stanislaus County while volunteering through the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). This is a federal program under Senior Corps.
