Delivering and retrieving blood products, equipment, displays, shipments, and supplies to/from mobile blood drive sites, centers, and other facilities, as needed. Transport interoffice mail.
Please note: Volunteers are not allowed to handle any blood products that are not in transport boxes.

Volunteer Responsibilities: As directed by management:
- Transport and deliver prepared boxes of blood products from centers
- Transport prepared and boxed blood products from mobile blood drive sites
- Transport interoffice mail
- Transport and deliver supplies, as needed

Our goal is to Maintain quality delivery and service of blood products

training plan:

- Blood Product Services (BPS) staff will train volunteers couriers in the same manner as a staff courier
- Master Control computer task training
- Training ride-along with BPS staff driver
- Volunteers will not handle blood products in the course of training or volunteering

Qualification:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver license with zero points on driving record
- Driving record must not have any moving violations or accidents within the previous four years period from the date of review. This will be reviewed before being training is complete.
- Must be able to lift 70lbs and push and pull 100lbs
- Ability to complete training on a computer
