Volunteers Needed for Lift Up Atlanta's Career Workshop Orientation
Location: Norcross Human Services Center, 5030 Georgia Belle Court, Norcross, GA
If you have the expertise with resumes, great interview skills and other job search abilities, please come and meet with Rob G., our job readiness program director.
We need volunteers that are available on Saturdays. Currently, our career workshops are held the 2nd Saturday of every month. We need dedicated professionals who can help others in our community to freshen up their job skills and get the much needed jobs that they desire and need.
If you are able to work 10am to 12pm on Saturdays, please join us for our brief orientation on November 12th from 930am to 10am.

Our goal is to provide supportive services to homeless women and children and partner with the community at large to help better their lives.
Description
Lift Up Atlanta, Inc. is a volunteer organization that provides basic care, recreational activities, hot meal programs etc. for homeless women and children. We also help feed the hungry with food drives and providing meals.
We partner with other non profit organizations to provide toys at Christmas, seasonal food baskets, furniture move-ins for the homeless, summer lunch programs for kids, back packs/school supplies for kids etc..
Our ultimate goal is provide transitional housing for homeless women and children and a resource center so that they can get all the services that they need to empower them to have a much better life.
