The College and Career Convention is designed to expand awareness of financial aid opportunities among L.A. students and their families. The event will feature colleges and universities throughout California and the U.S., speakers and exhibits on college life, interactive career demonstrations, and information about scholarships and other financial aid, all designed to help students understand the importance of college.
Volunteers are needed to serve as greeters, and assist with event organization. Volunteers are welcomed to particpate on either one or both days.
We will also be needing volunteers to help with setup: Thursday, Nov. 17, from 1pm - 5pm. The event will be held at the Los Angeles Trade Technical College on Friday, November 18 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturday, November 19 from 8 a.m. to 2p.m.
