After-school tutors have the opportunity to help students on a one-on-one or small-group basis Monday through Friday from 4:00PM - 6:00PM.Opportunities exist throughout the entire 2016-2017 school season.Volunteers must submit to a release of information background check. Tutors are required to have some college or similar experience.Tutors must possess a passion for helping students learn and have the knowledge and skills to help students find new ways to look at difficult skills and concepts.

Greater Second Care Center, Inc. (GSCC) created in 2001 is the non-profit arm of Greater Second Baptist Church, located at 5615 Geyer Springs Road, Little Rock, AR 72209 in Southwest Little Rock. GSCC is branching out into the community to make a better community. Serving the community through a Food Pantry, Clothes Closet, Silver Connections , Serving Ex-offenders and Youth Programs. GSCC programs promote awareness, education and an atmosphere of hope in the Southwest Little Rock community
