Join us at CoCA!

Volunteer with CoCA, Center on Contemporary Art.
Immerse yourself in the Seattle art community as you gain valuable skills. We have two opportunities available:

  • Volunteer as a CoCA Gallery Steward (on Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays from 11am-4pm). Help out at our nonprofit art gallery while interacting with our visitors, artists, staff, & other volunteers. Full training provided.

Other Benefits for CoCA Volunteers include:

  • When you get 20 hours volunteer time, you get a free 1 year CoCA Membership
  • CoCA Members are eligible for juried consideration for our annual CoCA Members' Show
  • CoCA Members can link to their art social media accounts through our website.

Mission Statement

Seattle's Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) serves the Pacific Northwest as a catalyst and forum for the advancement, development, and understanding of Contemporary Art.

Description

CoCA has been a vital part of contemporary art in the Northwest for 38+ years. Since 1980 CoCA has operated galleries and produced events throughout the Seattle area with the goal of increasing the approachability and understanding of contemporary art, while simultaneously building a supportive and stimulating environment for artists in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
