Join our Docent Guild!

Follow your passion for Latin American Art, become a MOLAA Docent!!

You are invited to a MOLAA Docent "Mix and Mingle" Orientation on Friday evening, November 18, 2016, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Arrive at 5:30 pm sharp and meet the Volunteer Manager who will present a brief introduction. At 6 pm, experience our "speed dating" segment where your questions will be answered by our staff and veteran docents. At 7 pm, take a tour of the museum for a first-hand look at our exhibitions. We hope to see you there!! You do not need to speak Spanish to become a docent.

Mission Statement

MoLAA's mission is to education the public about contemporary Latin American fine art (by artists who have lived and worked in Latin America since WWII) through the presentation of a significant permanent collection, dynamic exhibitions and related cultural and educational programs.

Description

The Museum of Latin American Art (MoLAA) is the only musuem in the western United States that exclusively features contemporary Latin American fine art. Since its inception in November of 1996, MoLAA has grown tremendously in terms of its physical space, the services that it offers to the community, its educational programs and special events and the importance of the exhibits presented.
