The library is working on an Innovation Lab initiative, that will turn the Pop Room on the first floor into not just a wonderful community gathering space, but a place for technology innovation, educational opportunities, and school to career resources.
As part of this initiative, our up and coming Teen MakerSpace needs YOU! We have acquired materials for teens to tinker with sewing, quilting, weaving and more!
We would like to invite you to help us offer a weekly session where Teens can consult with you on what they are working on, or where you can offer a workshop on creating something specific with the existing materials to help develop their skills.
If you can:
-Knit
-Crochet
-Weave
-Quilt
-Sew
-Paint/Draw
We would be delighted to have you. We also have adult programs you could work with as well.
