The Mission of the historic Charles A Melton Arts and Education Center is to contribute to the quality of life for all people of the greater West Chester community by continuing its long commitment of providing educational, recreational, cultural and civic services.
The Melton Center seeks outgoing persons to staff the Reception desk in the Main office for two or four hours once per week, 10am - 2 pm. This opportunity requires good phone skills, the ability to do a few office tasks such as light filing and copying, and a welcoming attitude. Must be reliable and communicative. Basic computer skills a plus but not necessary. The opportunity provides a chance for friendly personal interaction as well as exposure to the many exciting programs and activities happening at the Center.
Must be able to walk up a few steps to enter the building. Free and convenient parking.

The Charles A. Melton Arts & Education center provides adult and youth programs for the betterment of our community. Our major programs include New Directions After-School Program, Summer Basketball Camp & League, Community Garden, and more recreational services.
