We are looking for volunteers who want to come on weekends and prepare lunch or dinner for 13 of our residents at Nathalie Salmon House located at 7320 N. Sheridan Rd, Chicago
Lunch is served at 12:30 pm so plan to arrive by 11
Dinner is served at 5:00 so plan to arrive by 3
You can come on your own or in small groups (up to 3 people recommended), you can prepare the food we have on hand, bring in your own special dish or bring in food from your favorite eatery.
So whether you want to show off your cooking skills, try out grandma's old recipes or come with your friends and have fun cooking together, this opportunity is perfect for you! The seniors will love your dishes and they always appreciate having guest chefs.

H.O.M.E helps low-income seniors in Chicago maintain their independence by providing free home repair, free shopping transportation, and three affordable apartment buildings where seniors can live comfortably in an intergenerational environment.
