Do you like traveling? Have you lived in the DC metro area for a long time? Do you want to give back to the community? Are you looking to learn more about the airport environment? Whatever your background and motivation, come join us. Travelers Aid is excited to welcome more volunteers!
Our volunteers take pride in assisting passengers 7 days a week, whether they give directions and tourist information, reunite family members, aid in recovering lost items or provide extra assistance during major events and holidays.
As a volunteer, you'll be expected to commit to a minimum of 6 months of service and come in once a week for a regular 3 to 4 hour shift. We'll give you comprehensive training to staff the information desks and parking will be validated during your shift.

Travelers Aid provides passenger assistance at Reagan National Airport. It is part of Travelers Aid International, whose mission is to aid people in transit who are in distress, through direct services or services provided by member organizations. Travelers Aid International's vision is to ensure that people in transit receive assistance when and where it is needed in communities and travel hubs.
Travelers Aid has been assisting passengers at Reagan National Airport since the airport opened in 1941! Our volunteers staff the airport's information desks and we have helped close to 1.9 million passengers in the last 5 years.
