WHAT:
Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) Counselors
WHO:
Concerned individuals who receive special training in Medicare and Medicaid law/regulations in order to assist seniors with free, impartial health insurance counseling. 3 Day training required.
JOB ENTAILS:
Medicare insurance education, comparisons, enrollment, claims and appeals
Application assistance for Medicaid and Medicaid Savings Program
Provide 60 hours counseling hours per year
Ability to get along with others
Proficient with the computer and internet
Good organizational skills
Willingness to Learn
Reliable and Dependable. Able to commit to one ½ day per week.
