Volunteers needed to help during the power hour program each day during the school year at the Central Asheboro Boys and Girls Club. Power Hour is an hour long program each day for the members of the club to get hep with their homework and test prep. Tutors are needed to help in this program each day.

The mission of The Volunteer Center of Randolph County is to mobilize volunteers to address community needs and to strengthen the capacity of local organizations to involve volunteers effectively.

Description

The center is a comprehensive resource center for volunteers and programs that utilize the services of volunteers. The center will recruit and refer volunteers and help agencies effectively orient, train, retain, recognize and evaluate volunteers.
