The Seattle Children's Museum will participate during four days of the Seattle/King County Health Clinic (SKCHC) this October. SCM will be a part of the early morning resources made available to families in the Fisher Pavilion as families wait in line to access free health care.
The Seattle Children's Museum is excited to provide a safe area for kids to play in, with guided activities and a small rest area. We plan to offer a takeaway activity for each child, as well as resource information for adult parents and caregivers.
We plan for at least three supervising adults at all times to provide guided play and supervision, with the children’s adult caregivers either actively involved in activities, or within line of sight. Help SCM make access to health care a little less stressful for participating adults and children alike!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to engage children, and the people who care for them, in playful, creative, hands-on exploration and discovery. Our purpose is to encourage kids and adults alike to embrace active, lifelong learning. We create and maintain museum spaces, events and programs that are inclusive, engaging, playful and fun for ALL of the region’s kids and families. We envision a region where children, families, students and educators have a wide network of facilities to support them in learning, engagement, play and quality time together. We will strive to be an essential part of that network.
