The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event to end cancer. Funds raised through the events enable the Society to help people facing the disease today, educate people about how to reduce their risk for cancer or detect it early when it’s the easiest to treat, and fund cancer research that will help protect future generations.
But our work is not done. We need people like you to join the Relay For Life movement and help multiply our efforts to eliminate cancer as a public health problem.
By becoming a Relay For Life event leadership volunteer, you have the opportunity to make a tangible impact in the fight against cancer, gain valuable leadership skills, and receive the honor and satisfaction of helping others in your community enjoy a memorable experience.

Description
The Society relies on the strength of approximately 2.5 million dedicated volunteers. Supported by professional staff, Society volunteers drive every part of our mission. They raise funds to support crucial research, provide cancer patients rides to and from treatments, and give one-on-one support to those facing a cancer diagnosis - and that’s just the beginning.
