Marketing Director

Shine Foundation is a non-profit that provides financial counceling to homeless survivors of domestic abuse.

As part of the Baltimore chapter’s volunteer Executive Team, the Marketing Director will oversee all internal and external communications across all media. This role is for a strategic thinker who has both a natural talent for weaving together disparate pieces into a whole story and a big-picture perspective for leveraging marketing strategies to promote and support Shine Foundation’s work.


  1. Plan and implement measurable, marketing strategies to support Shine Foundation’s projects and chapter objectives

  2. Establish metrics to measure marketing performance

  3. Plan budget for marketing initiatives

  4. Advise on annual and monthly marketing goals

  5. Proactively update social media channels (Facebook, Twitter)

  6. Create/Explore new marketing channels, as needed

  7. Establish uniform templates and fonts for all communication

  8. Write and/or recruit others to write for our blog, as needed

  9. Lead a committee of coordinators

  10. Perform other duties, within his/her ability and as needed
