On October 22nd from 8:30am-12pm The Whole Person is planning a Planting Independence to help those who have disabilities with their yard work. The Whole Person holds a Planting Independence every Spring and Fall to help those in need. Groups of 5-6 volunteers are assigned to different locations across the Kansas City area. Each group helps with yard work for The Whole Person’s consumers. This event is a great opportunity to make an impact in your community by helping those in need!

The Whole Person offers a broad range of services to individuals with disabilities to increase their ability to perform day-to-day activities and reduce the need of support from family members, professional attendants or other caregiving services.
