ATTENTION ALL VOLUNTEERS!!! Are you looking for a site to give back, mentor or complete your community service requirements? The Bulldog Karate Team a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization is looking for you to assist in the after school karate program. This community service effort is GREAT for National Honors Society students (NHS), PATH participants, retirees or those just looking to do some good. Volunteers assist with snack distribution & homework assistance and volunteer roughly 1-1.5hrs per day Monday - Friday. Potential employment opportunities to follow for those that qualify + training perks & incentives included.

Mission Statement
Bulldog Karate provides quality educational and recreational programming to children and adults through the discipline of martial arts, fitness & kickboxing. Our goal is to cultivate the participant for success on and off of the training floor with the character development martial arts provides. Development of self-confidence, discipline, focus, self-control and increased physical fitness compliments the development of every participant. The added bonus of learning self-defense combats one of children’s most daunting troubles, bullying.
Description
Purpose: To provide quality programming in the areas of character development using the discipline instilled in the martial arts as a catalyst to improve self-control, self-discipline, self-defense and overall physical fitness. Bulldog karate will host programming for the following participants but not limited to only these demographics: Students identified with ADD, ADHD and mild forms of Autism (IEP required).
Low income families (previous income tax info required W-2/poverty level etc.)
Fighting childhood obesity children fitness kickboxing (medical clearance).
All ADHD, ADD, mild forms of autism & obesity programming include nutritional assistance.
