At Grady, we believe family and friends play an important role in the healing process. We want to ensure that not only our patients but our visitors feel that we are here to support them during their visit. To bridge that gap, Grady started a program where warm cookies are served to the friends and family members of our surgical patients.

We need kind and friendly volunteers to prepare and offer a delicious treat as well as encourage and uplift our visitors awaiting news of their loved ones. Volunteers can come individually or in pairs to set-up, bake, serve and tidy-up within a 2 - 3 hour shift between the hours of 8am - 8pm Mondays - Fridays.

Description
Grady Health System is looking to utilize volunteers to assist at our Information Desk with wheelchair transport and way-finding throughout the hospital as well as with baking and serving warm cookies to the friends and family of our surgical patients.
